Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Leek's Cliff Hehir started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chris Auckland struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Cliff Webster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leek. After having played for 7 minutes, Cliff Hehir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cliff Hehir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chris Auckland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cliff Webster having to interfere. Cliff Hehir received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cliff Webster came out and tried to block the shot, but Cliff Hehir slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. Cliff Hehir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Cliff Webster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cliff Webster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cliff Hehir, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The supporters of Leek booed when Malvern FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Jenkinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Malvern FC's zone, Cliff Hehir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cliff Webster came out of the goal and Cliff Hehir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Malvern FC's Cliff Webster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cliff Hehir in the 24th minute of play. After 25 played minutes Leek got a freekick which was hit by Lewis Pye-Finch. After some careless play in the Malvern FC defense, Chris Auckland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cliff Webster. The Malvern FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cliff Webster should have stopped the shot. Chris Auckland in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cliff Webster, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 32 minutes into the game, Chris Auckland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malvern FC the free kick. A collision led to Leek getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Chris Auckland hit a great ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Cliff Hehir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malvern FC's Cliff Webster was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Leek's Cliff Hehir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cliff Webster narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute of the match, Cliff Hehir tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cliff Webster saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Chris Auckland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Cliff Webster stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cliff Hehir's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Cliff Webster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cliff Hehir in the 60th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Cliff Hehir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cliff Webster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Chris Auckland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leek's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Auckland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cliff Webster breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cliff Webster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugh Lewington in the 73rd minute of the match. Cliff Webster didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Auckland went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Cliff Hehir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Chris Auckland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cliff Webster was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Cliff Webster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cliff Hehir, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Cliff Webster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cliff Hehir in the 92nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Cliff Hehir put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cliff Webster. Leek's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
