Billie Kitchen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Wally Kenworthy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camron Duckworth got free with Wally Kenworthy in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garry Harris in the 20th minute of play forced Egremont United's goalkeeper Colin Ely to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Camron Duckworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, The Italian Immigrants's Barry Preece got a free kick in the 26th minute. Barry Preece hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Garry Harris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute Rueben Dickens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wally Kenworthy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of The Italian Immigrants booed when Egremont United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rueben Dickens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camron Duckworth scored 3-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wally Kenworthy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Billie Kitchen made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes The Italian Immigrants got a freekick which was hit by John Rush. In the 54th minute, Camron Duckworth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Perry Harper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Camron Duckworth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wally Kenworthy was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. When Rupert Purkiss fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Egremont United's protests and gave Rupert Purkiss a yellow card for diving instead. Rupert Purkiss hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Wally Kenworthy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rueben Dickens in the 68th minute of play. Colin Ely showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perry Harper, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 74 minutes Egremont United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Perry Harper who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on The Italian Immigrants's corner Jason Ely fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Colin Ely quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Perry Harper got free with Colin Ely in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeffrey Tolley's late challenge caught a The Italian Immigrants's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeffrey Tolley helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Egremont United getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jeffrey Tolley hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camron Duckworth in the 81st minute of play forced The Italian Immigrants's goalkeeper Wally Kenworthy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perry Harper struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Colin Ely didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Italian Immigrants. In the 84th match minute, Egremont United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyler Kalischer to maneuver through the defense. Wally Kenworthy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camron Duckworth in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Camron Duckworth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wally Kenworthy. The Italian Immigrants's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camron Duckworth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Perry Harper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wally Kenworthy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeffrey Tolley, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
