Jon Norton might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Devon Timiney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jon Norton ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rdth minute of the game Clive Nancy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ferryton's Devon Timiney was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Wanlip City's Jon Norton in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ferryton's goalie prevented a goal. Ferryton's Devon Timiney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clive Nancy in the 36th minute of play. Iain Steed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendon Booker in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Wanlip City's zone, Sean Hinshelwood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iain Steed came out of the goal and Sean Hinshelwood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Brendon Booker came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Ferryton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brendon Booker couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brendon Booker to strike the kick off in the second half. Devon Timiney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clive Nancy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nath Greenfield took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Devon Timiney. Ferryton's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jon Norton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Devon Timiney having to make a save. Ferryton's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Clive Nancy scored to the left of an out of position Devon Timiney, making the score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ferryton's zone, Clive Nancy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Devon Timiney came out of the goal and Clive Nancy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th match minute, Ferryton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Gamble to maneuver through the defense. Clive Nancy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 79th minute, Brendon Booker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iain Steed was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ferryton's Devon Timiney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clive Nancy in the 85th minute of play. Ferryton's Sean Hinshelwood got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sean Hinshelwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wanlip City had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
