Kev Tonkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Blythe in the 16th minute of the match. YNWA United's Shane Hoskins got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 20 played minutes Bristol Black Horse got a freekick which was hit by Vance McGovern. Shane Hoskins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Ingram having to interfere. Kev Tonkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Blythe in the 31st minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Deon Smith got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kev Tonkin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kev Tonkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vance McGovern in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Tod Drury notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of YNWA United's Kev Tonkin. Kev Tonkin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Vance McGovern managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bristol Black Horse's supporters rose to their feet, but Vance McGovern was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kev Tonkin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peter Ingram showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shane Hoskins in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tod Drury to strike the kick off in the second half. YNWA United's Kev Tonkin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save YNWA United from getting a goal against them. Daniel Blythes short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Kev Tonkin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tod Drury in the 57th minute of play forced YNWA United's goalkeeper Kev Tonkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kev Tonkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tod Drury, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 played minutes YNWA United got a freekick which was hit by Jeffrey Fielden. Vance McGoverns short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Kev Tonkin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Vance McGovern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. YNWA United's Kev Tonkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vance McGovern in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Bristol Black Horse were awarded a corner. Deon Smith went to the cornerflag to take it. Kev Tonkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tod Drury, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Bristol Black Horse's Daniel Blythe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kev Tonkin. Kev Tonkin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. If Tod Drury had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute.
