The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for HeadHunters. Darryl Naisbitt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwyn North, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gwyn Davis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darryl Naisbitt having to interfere. Darryl Naisbitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwyn North in the 64th minute of the match. Gwyn Davis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes HeadHunters got a freekick which was hit by Glenn Sutherland. In the 74th minute of the match Rodd Penn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darryl Naisbitt skillfully saved the ball. After 75 played minutes HeadHunters got a freekick which was hit by Len Cheetham. Glenn Sutherland in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Scott Sutton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Gwyn North had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Len Cheetham hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 89thth minute of the game Gwyn North who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HeadHunters's Darryl Naisbitt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. oldham united had played much better football throughout.
