Mike Boatman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Revell in the 11th minute of the match. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hadlow Harriers's goalkeeper Mike Boatman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Liam Gildea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 0-2 became the score in the 24th minute when Liam Gildea elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Liam Gildea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sidney Revell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike Boatman having to interfere. Liam Gildea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Mike Boatman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mike Boatman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liam Gildea in the 37th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ken Hardcastle to make the kick off. Hadlow Harriers's Mike Boatman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Pointon in the 52nd minute of play. Ruben Platt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike Boatman having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mick Goodwin during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Yarm FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mick Goodwin to maneuver through the defense. Mike Boatman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Revell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Yarm FC's Sidney Revell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mike Boatman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mike Boatman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Revell in the 74th minute of play. Liam Gildea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th match minute, Hadlow Harriers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ken Hardcastle to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Yarm FC's Mike Boatman threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sidney Revell, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 82nd minute of the match, Sidney Revell tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mike Boatman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 84 minutes, Zane Reeve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hadlow Harriers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zane Reeve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ken Hardcastle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Philip Bateman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidney Revell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mike Boatman having to make a save. If Sidney Revell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yarm FC played a much better game than Hadlow Harriers and deserved their victory. The Hadlow Harriers players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
