Spectators: 7659 (Terracing: 5746, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) In the 2nd match minute, Reading FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danny Wildman to maneuver through the defense. Reading FC's Marty Noble managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bill Croft in the 8 minute of the game. Frazer Shaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the game, Tyrone Barone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dragons FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reading FC the free kick. In the 10th minute, Tyrone Barone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danny Wildman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Archie Unsworth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Lennie Foley notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Reading FC's Ash Lawless. Ash Lawless was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Bill Croft fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dragons FC's protests and gave Bill Croft a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Bill Croft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Revell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Archie Unsworth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Jake Lundy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ash Lawless saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Archie Unsworth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frazer Shaw, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Jake Lundy kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Ash Lawless showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugh Callery in the 33rd minute of the match. Ash Lawless made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jake Lundy in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Lennie Foley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ash Lawless was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Adrian Revell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Jonathon Burgess got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lennie Foley made the kick off in the second half. Ash Lawless came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dragons FC's Jake Lundy. But to his dismay, Jake Lundy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 57 minutes into the match, Hugh Callery had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ash Lawless. Reading FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugh Callery was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 60 minutes into the match, Dragons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Revell came free, but Archie Unsworth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frazer Shaw could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Archie Unsworth made a huge save. Bradley Rice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Archie Unsworth having to interfere. Reading FC's Adrian Revell got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bradley Rice came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Reading FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bradley Rice couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the game, Adrian Revell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Archie Unsworth. Adrian Revell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. A collision led to Reading FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Trev Speed hit a great ball. After 84 minutes of play, Dragons FC's Lennie Foley made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ash Lawless was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adrian Revell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 minutes of play, Dragons FC's Jake Lundy made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ash Lawless was left in no man's land by his defense there! Many of Reading FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Reading FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Dragons FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
