Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) GALATASARAY's Aaron White started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Deon Sharples's late challenge caught a GALATASARAY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Deon Sharples helped the player get up and apologised. Aaron White kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Aaron White took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tommy Fitzsymon to make any attempt to save it. Ian Bonds's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Burgess read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Marcus Sargent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Fitzsymon having to interfere. Deon Sharples was shown his second yellow card after 29 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of GALATASARAY booed when FK Steaua Bucharest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deon Sharples didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Fitzsymon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron White, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron White in the 34th minute of play forced FK Steaua Bucharest's goalkeeper Tommy Fitzsymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Sargent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Fitzsymon having to interfere. Joel Burgess came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by FK Steaua Bucharest's Ian Bonds. But to his dismay, Ian Bonds quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ian Bonds to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Liam Winstanley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Steaua Bucharest's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GALATASARAY the free kick. When GALATASARAY's Marcus Sargent in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK Steaua Bucharest's goalie prevented a goal. Tommy Fitzsymon came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by GALATASARAY's Aaron White. But to his dismay, Aaron White quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron White in the 70th minute of play forced FK Steaua Bucharest's goalkeeper Tommy Fitzsymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Steaua Bucharest's goalkeeper Tommy Fitzsymon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aaron White fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Fitzsymon having to interfere. If Aaron White had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Fitzsymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron White in the 81st minute of play. Tommy Fitzsymon came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by GALATASARAY's Aaron White. But to his dismay, Aaron White quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 90thth minute of the game Aaron White who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Steaua Bucharest's Tommy Fitzsymon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcus Sargent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tommy Fitzsymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Fitzsymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Sargent in the 94th minute of the match. Aaron White struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Tommy Fitzsymon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GALATASARAY. There was no doubt that GALATASARAY were the better team. GALATASARAY's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
