The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mitch Pickering during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th minute, Mitch Pickering hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sporting Clube Portugal's Jonathan Trusswell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube Portugal from getting a goal against them. Quentin Togwell shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 19 minutes into the match, Clive Colton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Trusswell. Sporting Clube Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clive Colton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 22 minutes into the game, Aaran's Clive Colton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Trusswell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Clive Colton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 played minutes Vern Skipton rounded Sporting Clube Portugal's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. In the 35th minute, Jay Holland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Joe Edwards had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sporting Clube Portugal's Jonathan Trusswell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vern Skipton in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, Sporting Clube Portugal's Jonathan Trusswell got control of the ball when Clive Colton tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Vern Skipton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Trusswell having to interfere. Jonathan Trusswell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francis Haywood in the 58th minute of play. Vern Skipton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Trusswell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clive Colton's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Clive Colton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Trusswell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sporting Clube Portugal getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Mitch Pickering hit a great ball. After 73 played minutes Aaran got a freekick which was hit by Ian Plant. 75 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Clive Colton came free, but Jonathan Trusswell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 minutes of play, Aaran's Vern Skipton made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Trusswell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Trusswell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clive Colton, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Sporting Clube Portugal's Jonathan Trusswell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jay Holland in the 85th minute of play. Jonathan Trusswell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clive Colton in the 86th minute of the match. Jonathan Trusswell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clive Colton's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Jonathan Trusswell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vern Skipton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Aaran's Vern Skipton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Trusswell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Trusswell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vern Skipton in the 92nd minute of play. Vern Skipton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jonathan Trusswell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sporting Clube Portugal's Jonathan Trusswell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vern Skipton in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aaran had played much better football throughout.
