Graeme Simpson was a little too slow when Neil Middlewood got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. Travis Gibbons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Newland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Travis Gibbons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Newland in the 33rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Connett in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Graeme Simpson saved Wolf City from getting behind. Victoria Pakoszówka's Travis Gibbons proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Victoria Pakoszówka from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute of the match Alistair Wildman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Travis Gibbons showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Wolf City's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Connett came free, but Graeme Simpson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Buster Dowrick was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Wolf City's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Don Newland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Travis Gibbons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Don Newland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Buster Dowrick in the 87th minute of play forced Victoria Pakoszówka's goalkeeper Travis Gibbons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Connett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Allan Connett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Graeme Simpson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Victoria Pakoszówka's zone, Don Newland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Travis Gibbons came out of the goal and Don Newland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victoria Pakoszówka's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
