Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sean Archer kicked off to start the match. 1-0 became the score in the 3rd minute when Simon Skipton elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Thrybergh AFC's Jerome Constable got a free kick in the 5th minute. Kristian Castledine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 played minutes Thrybergh AFC got a freekick which was hit by Karl Fleetwood. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Skipton got free with Jim Morning in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jim Morning stood somewhat misplaced when Simon Skipton came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 21 minute. Evolution's Sebastian Brighton got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Brighton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Guy Hurst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Evolution's goalkeeper Jim Morning, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sean Archer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jim Morning read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Sean Archer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Sean Archer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Morning having to interfere. 47 minutes in the game, Simon Skipton fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jim Morning having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Brighton to make the kick off. When Sebastian Brighton came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Evolution fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Brighton couldn't finish the play. If Simon Skipton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Oscar Simpson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Evolution's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thrybergh AFC the free kick. A collision led to Evolution getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Oscar Simpson hit a great ball. Vernon Worrall took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jim Morning. Evolution's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Evolution's goalkeeper Jim Morning, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Simon Skipton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Morning having to interfere. A collision led to Thrybergh AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Tommy Heywood hit a great ball. Jim Morning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Skipton, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Brighton in the 83rd minute of play forced Thrybergh AFC's goalkeeper Guy Hurst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guy Hurst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Brighton in the 87th minute of play. If Sean Archer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jim Morning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Archer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jim Morning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Skipton, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
