Spectators: 6751 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 17) After some careless play in the Milton defense, Buster Heath kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vince Slade. The Milton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vince Slade should have stopped the shot. Vince Slade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liam Myers, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Michael Dunning kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Buster Heath took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vince Slade. Vince Slade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Milton's Vince Slade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liam Myers in the 24th minute of play. Stubbington City's Michael Dunning got his second yellow card of the match in the 25th minute. The referee ordered Michael Dunning off the ground. In the 26th minute, Michael Dunning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Buster Heath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Vince Slade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rupert Cryer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Stubbington City's goal looked a bit too open when Stewart Hylton came free, but Kris Langford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Buster Heath struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Vince Slade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stubbington City. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rob Hylton during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Stubbington City booed when Milton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rob Hylton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Buster Heath shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vince Slade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Den Scriven kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Buster Heath recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Den Scriven's late challenge caught a Stubbington City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Den Scriven helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Den Scriven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Buster Heath blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vince Slade having to make a save.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupert Cryer in the 52nd minute of play forced Stubbington City's goalkeeper Kris Langford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute, Rupert Cryer made a precise shot to the right of Kris Langford. Stubbington City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Buster Heath fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vince Slade having to interfere. The supporters of Stubbington City booed when Milton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graham Blewett didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Stubbington City's goal looked a bit too open when Stewart Hylton came free, but Kris Langford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vince Slade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Booker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Den Scriven was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. After 75 played minutes Milton got a freekick which was hit by Den Scriven. When Buster Heath came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Stubbington City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Buster Heath couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Buster Heath made a precise shot to the right of Vince Slade. Milton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 89th minute, Buster Heath got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Kurt Booker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stubbington City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Booker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Buster Heath cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Vince Slade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Milton's Vince Slade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Milton from getting a goal against them.
