After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Zackary Hellen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Conway Gardens's supporters rose to their feet, but Zackary Hellen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lewis Guest breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conway Gardens's Lance Rayner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devon Wright in the 19th minute of play. If Kurt Symons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Devon Wright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Paris-saint-german getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Josh Bower hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Symons in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lewis Guest saved Paris-saint-german from getting behind. After 39 minutes, Marc Moon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conway Gardens and the Paris-saint-german players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes Conway Gardens got a freekick which was hit by Marc Moon. Paris-saint-german's Devon Wright managed to work through Conway Gardens's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Devon Wright dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Lance Rayner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Devon Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 48th minute, Dale Holmes made a precise shot to the right of Lance Rayner. Conway Gardens's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Devon Wright made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Symons in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lewis Guest saved Paris-saint-german from getting behind. After 60 played minutes Conway Gardens got a freekick which was hit by Noel Bastow. After recieving a nice pass, Paris-saint-german's Austin Alcock tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Dale Holmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Symons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Lewis Guest tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 2-2 became the score in the 76th minute when Devon Wright elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Kurt Symons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Kurt Symons sped through Paris-saint-german's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lewis Guest. Dean Elvins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lewis Guest tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
