Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ian Gallagher took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dom Downes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradley Hewitt, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Gerry Greenfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the game, Ian Gallagher recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marty Corrigan. Ian Gallagher showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ian Gallagher hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Bradley Hewitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ian Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerry Greenfield in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marty Corrigan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 22 played minutes Olveston FC got a freekick which was hit by Keith Freeman. In the 31st minute Nathanial Whitmore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dom Downes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Chingford City got a freekick which was hit by Karl Beresford. 47 minutes into the match, Olveston FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Gallagher came free, but Marty Corrigan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Nathanial Whitmore made the kick off in the second half. Gerry Greenfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Marty Corrigan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Billie Corbridge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Gallagher in the 56th minute of play forced Olveston FC's goalkeeper Marty Corrigan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Gerry Greenfield quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 77 minutes into the match, Olveston FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Gallagher came free, but Marty Corrigan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gerry Greenfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 80 minutes, Ian Gallagher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chingford City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ian Gallagher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Olveston FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Gallagher came free, but Marty Corrigan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marty Corrigan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerry Greenfield in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Chingford City's Ian Gallagher sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marty Corrigan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 95 minutes of play Olveston FC's Denis McDonald was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Chingford City booed when Olveston FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis McDonald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ian Gallagher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
