The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but John-Paul Brough showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match, Gavin Rusby tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but John-Paul Brough saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Garth Aiston charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Garth Aiston the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, mliavn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garth Aiston to maneuver through the defense. mliavn's John-Paul Brough proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save mliavn from getting a goal against them. The mliavn fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hornchurch were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
