Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nicholas Beesley took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Old Bexley City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micheal Winship to maneuver through the defense. Andy Kenworthy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Preston having to interfere. A collision led to Potato Chasers getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Eddie Patton hit a great ball. Old Bexley City's Phillip Redwood-Turner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ethan Legzdins in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Nicholas Beesley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Steven West kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Fraser Denham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Old Bexley City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potato Chasers the free kick. The supporters of Potato Chasers booed when Old Bexley City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fraser Denham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicholas Beesley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Terry Halford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 played minutes Old Bexley City got a freekick which was hit by Micheal Winship. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Tim Meade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Old Bexley City's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Meade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. James Preston breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Andy Kenworthy came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Old Bexley City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andy Kenworthy couldn't finish the play. After 34 played minutes Potato Chasers got a freekick which was hit by Lance Moss. After a rather tough play, Potato Chasers's Lance Moss got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Andy Kenworthy came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Old Bexley City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andy Kenworthy couldn't finish the play. If Andy Kenworthy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tim Meade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. James Preston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andy Kenworthy got free with James Preston in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the match, Potato Chasers's goalkeeper James Preston had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andy Kenworthy. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

James Preston took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Kenworthy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tim Meade took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised James Preston. James Preston dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. James Preston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Meade in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Nicholas Beesley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Potato Chasers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Old Bexley City the free kick. James Preston stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andy Kenworthy's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Meade in the 73rd minute of play forced Potato Chasers's goalkeeper James Preston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andy Kenworthy hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 78thth minute of the game Tim Meade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Potato Chasers's James Preston was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute Andy Kenworthy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Preston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Tim Meade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Tim Meade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but James Preston was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Tim Meade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Preston having to interfere. James Preston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Meade, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. There was no doubt that Old Bexley City were the better team. Old Bexley City's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
