John-Paul Brough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Meade, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. John-Paul Brough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Meade in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, mliavn's Gav Law got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Terry Halford had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of John-Paul Brough. mliavn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Terry Halford was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricky Welch in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phillip Redwood-Turner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tim Meade during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ricky Welch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Phillip Redwood-Turner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. mliavn's John-Paul Brough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Kenworthy in the 29th minute of play. After 35 minutes, Terry Halford mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Old Bexley City and the mliavn players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of mliavn booed when Old Bexley City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terry Halford didn't get a good kick on the ball. John-Paul Brough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micheal Winship in the 39th minute of play. In the 44th minute, John Cooper made a precise shot to the right of John-Paul Brough. mliavn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half Old Bexley City were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Andy Kenworthy took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John-Paul Brough. John-Paul Brough dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Terry Halford got free with John-Paul Brough in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. mliavn's John-Paul Brough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Meade in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, mliavn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricky Welch to maneuver through the defense. Tim Meade scored 0-5 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of John-Paul Brough, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute, Old Bexley City's Tim Meade dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. John-Paul Brough took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Meade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Meade in the 86th minute of play forced mliavn's goalkeeper John-Paul Brough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Terry Halford recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of John-Paul Brough. Terry Halford showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Old Bexley City played a much better game than mliavn and deserved their victory. The mliavn players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
