Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fitz Elding started the match with the kick off. Terry Halford hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Old Bexley City's goal looked a bit too open when Fitz Elding came free, but Phillip Redwood-Turner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tim Meade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trevor Cheswick read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Syd Thompson struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Phillip Redwood-Turner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for eMeSWu. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for eMeSWu! Fitz Elding received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Phillip Redwood-Turner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, eMeSWu's goalkeeper Trevor Cheswick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Micheal Winship. In the 26th minute, Tim Meade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tim Meade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trevor Cheswick having to interfere. When Old Bexley City's Tim Meade in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye eMeSWu's goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes into the match, eMeSWu's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Meade came free, but Trevor Cheswick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the eMeSWu defense, Tim Meade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trevor Cheswick. The eMeSWu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trevor Cheswick should have stopped the shot. Trevor Cheswick came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Old Bexley City's Tim Meade. But to his dismay, Tim Meade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Tim Meade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trevor Cheswick having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

After some careless play in the eMeSWu defense, Andy Kenworthy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trevor Cheswick. The eMeSWu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trevor Cheswick should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in eMeSWu's zone, Micheal Winship stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trevor Cheswick came out of the goal and Micheal Winship tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Trevor Cheswick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Kenworthy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trevor Cheswick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Kenworthy, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Micheal Winship in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trevor Cheswick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andy Kenworthy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trevor Cheswick having to interfere. Henry Lundy kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Andy Kenworthy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Trevor Cheswick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trevor Cheswick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Meade in the 88th minute of play. Syd Thompson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillip Redwood-Turner having to interfere. Old Bexley City's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
