Stan Hargraves hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Aaron Nightingale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerry Browne. Polonia Gloucester's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aaron Nightingale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Maniac City's zone, Gaz Kellaway stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rhys Laycock came out of the goal and Gaz Kellaway tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Gaz Kellaway managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polonia Gloucester's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaz Kellaway was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rhys Laycock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerry Browne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Nightingale in the 27th minute of the match. Gerry Browne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Nightingale, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Polonia Gloucester's Gaz Kellaway got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Aaron Nightingale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Lewis Barnes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerry Browne was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The Polonia Gloucester players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Maniac City were winning 0-2.

Gerry Browne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lewis Barnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd match minute, Polonia Gloucester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joe Scott to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Maniac City booed when Polonia Gloucester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Scott didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maniac City's Deon Jowsey couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Nightingale got free with Gerry Browne in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rhys Laycock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaz Kellaway, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 played minutes Polonia Gloucester got a freekick which was hit by Trevor Wilkins. When Maniac City's Lewis Barnes in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Polonia Gloucester's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Gerry Browne managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Maniac City's Aaron Nightingale fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Aaron Nightingale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maniac City's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Nightingale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerry Browne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerry Browne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lewis Barnes's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Polonia Gloucester's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm May came free, but Gerry Browne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maniac City played a much better game than Polonia Gloucester and deserved their victory. The Polonia Gloucester players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
