Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stefan Oates started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martyn Hatcher got free with David Childs in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Dave Markinson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Childs was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Martyn Hatcher took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Childs. David Childs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A hard shot 17 in the game by Martyn Hatcher from a close distance when the talented David Childs managed to make a qualified save. Aldershot Titans FC's players were relieved. Martyn Hatcher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Dave Markinson took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for David Childs to make any attempt to save it. After 28 played minutes Aldershot Titans FC got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Tomlin. If Dave Markinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hayden Avery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Liverpool FC's Dale Oliver got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Markinson in the 41st minute of play forced Aldershot Titans FC's goalkeeper David Childs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martyn Hatcher struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. David Childs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool FC. Dave Markinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Childs having to interfere. Kyle Marsden hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dave Markinson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martyn Hatcher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martyn Hatcher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Childs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Jamie Hanley. David Childs didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martyn Hatcher went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 73rdth minute of the game Dave Markinson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aldershot Titans FC's David Childs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Childs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martyn Hatcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hayden Avery could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Eddy Sheppard made a huge save. If Martyn Hatcher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st match minute, Aldershot Titans FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy Drake to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute of the match Jamie Hanley sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Childs skillfully saved the ball. Martyn Hatcher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tyrone Percival charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tyrone Percival the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. David Childs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martyn Hatcher in the 95th minute of play. Liverpool FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
