Polonia Gloucester's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denis Sutherland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Gaz Kellaway made the kick off in the second half. In the 67thth minute of the game James Edmunds who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polonia Gloucester's Gerry Browne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute, Denis Sutherland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denis Sutherland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 minutes, Denis Sutherland made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Polonia Gloucester's Gerry Browne tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Addlestone AFC fully deserved thier win.
