Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) James Edmunds made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Addlestone AFC's goalkeeper Damien Dobbs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfie Tubbs. Ricky Grantham kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When Eddy Armstrong fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Addlestone AFC's protests and gave Eddy Armstrong a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Eddy Armstrong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 minutes, Aaron Rushforth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bakewell FC and the Addlestone AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Alastair Davey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Bakewell FC's Alfie Tubbs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damien Dobbs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Bakewell FC booed when Addlestone AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricky Grantham didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Chaz Speed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. James Edmunds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Peter Wooding tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Addlestone AFC's James Edmunds got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peter Wooding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rory Dickens, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Addlestone AFC's Nial McKeown sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Wooding narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Alastair Davey made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Alastair Davey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bakewell FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alastair Davey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. James Edmunds sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bakewell FC's zone, Nial McKeown stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Wooding came out of the goal and Nial McKeown tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bart Ferdinand kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes Addlestone AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rory Dickens. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, James Edmunds managed to get in a good position for a shot. Addlestone AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but James Edmunds was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Wooding breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When James Edmunds came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Addlestone AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that James Edmunds couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Bakewell FC's zone, James Edmunds stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Wooding came out of the goal and James Edmunds tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nial McKeown struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Peter Wooding didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Addlestone AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Nial McKeown managed to get in a good position for a shot. Addlestone AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nial McKeown was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Wooding breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nial McKeown might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Wooding. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nial McKeown ran back to his position shaking his head. Rory Dickens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Peter Wooding tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bakewell FC's Peter Wooding proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Bakewell FC from getting a goal against them. Nial McKeown fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Wooding having to interfere. If James Edmunds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Addlestone AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
