Aaron Nightingale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gerry Browne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lewis Barnes in the 16th minute of play forced Polonia Gloucester's goalkeeper Gerry Browne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerry Browne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aaron Nightingale's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Deon Jowsey during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Deon Jowsey kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Maniac City's goal looked a bit too open when Sly Gallagher came free, but Rhys Laycock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaz Kellaway in the 24th minute of play forced Maniac City's goalkeeper Rhys Laycock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Maniac City's Lewis Barnes, in the 31st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Maniac City. After 32 played minutes Polonia Gloucester got a freekick which was hit by Trevor Wilkins. In the 34th minute, Deon Jowsey sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Polonia Gloucester's Gerry Browne didn't even have to move. Aaron Nightingale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerry Browne having to make a save. Maniac City's Rhys Laycock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Les Rathmell in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Les Rathmell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When CJ Furlong fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maniac City's protests and gave CJ Furlong a yellow card for diving instead. CJ Furlong kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Gaz Kellaway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lewis Barnes in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerry Browne saved Polonia Gloucester from getting behind. Gerry Browne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lewis Barnes in the 93rd minute of the match. After 95 minutes, Norman Skipton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polonia Gloucester and the Maniac City players grew even worse after the yellow card. There was no doubt that Maniac City were the better team. Maniac City's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
