Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dylon Marsden took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Pete Silk managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Kilworth's supporters rose to their feet, but Pete Silk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lance Thackray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th match minute, North Kilworth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Weston to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes Panathinaikos F. C got a freekick which was hit by Jay Bassett. North Kilworth's Quentin Grigg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitch Ward in the 26th minute of play. Quentin Grigg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitch Ward, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Lance Thackray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Faulkner in the 32nd minute. Kurt Briant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Panathinaikos F. C getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Simon Nicholls hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes, North Kilworth's Garth Neville shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lance Thackray came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in North Kilworth reached it. The supporters of Panathinaikos F. C booed when North Kilworth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pete Silk didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mitch Ward was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Mitch Ward who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but North Kilworth's Quentin Grigg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Panathinaikos F. C's Jay Bassett got a free kick in the 58th minute. Lance Thackray came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by North Kilworth's Alexander Faulkner. But to his dismay, Alexander Faulkner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After having played for 72 minutes, Dylon Marsden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Kilworth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dylon Marsden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute Dylon Marsden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Thackray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Weston might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lance Thackray. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richard Weston ran back to his position shaking his head. Kurt Briant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Mitch Ward got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute Mitch Ward shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin Grigg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Briant got free with Quentin Grigg in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
