Roger Holt's late challenge caught a Fulofham FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Holt helped the player get up and apologised. Felix Clark in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Albert Pettifer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mangotsfield's Bob Mabbutt got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roger Holt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shawn Fairfax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Holt in the 33rd minute of the match. Felix Clark was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. Fulofham FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fulofham FC's Perry Weeks got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Clark struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Albert Pettifer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fulofham FC. Hugh Mason kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Felix Clark took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Albert Pettifer to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Fulofham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Justin Weatherhead was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
