Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vincent Cornish started the match with the kick off. Shawn Fairfax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Cornish in the 3rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Shap United's zone, Felix Clark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Lucas came out of the goal and Felix Clark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute Felix Beckwith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shawn Fairfax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Shap United's Eric Lucas got control of the ball when Perry Weeks tried to sneak it across the goal line. Shawn Fairfax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Cornish, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Shap United's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Clark came free, but Eric Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulofham FC's Gus Theakston managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by John Paul Pyrah in the 20 minute of the game. After 21 minutes, Felix Clark made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Shap United's Eric Lucas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tris Button kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26thth minute of the game Felix Beckwith who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fulofham FC's Shawn Fairfax was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Shawn Fairfax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Beckwith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Beckwith received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Shawn Fairfax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Clark in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eric Lucas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vincent Cornish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felix Clark was the one to do the kick off. Justin Weatherhead kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Fulofham FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Felix Beckwith scored to the left of an out of position Shawn Fairfax, making the score, 2-1. Felix Clark blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eric Lucas having to make a save. In the 71st minute Perry Weeks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shap United's Vincent Cornish got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vincent Cornish fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shawn Fairfax having to interfere. Zane Sykes charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zane Sykes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Shap United got a freekick which was hit by Zane Sykes. The supporters of Shap United booed when Fulofham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justin Weatherhead didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Felix Beckwith got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fulofham FC's Shawn Fairfax proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Fulofham FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Clark in the 88th minute of play forced Shap United's goalkeeper Eric Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Tris Button managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fulofham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tris Button was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Lucas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the game, Fulofham FC's Felix Clark nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Lucas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Fulofham FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
