Louie Crittenden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gus Golding in the 3rd minute of the match. David Beaver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Louie Crittenden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of North Shields AFC booed when nafienaf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruce Naisbitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gus Golding recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Tosh Shaw got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute Tosh Shaw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chaz Hinchcliffe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dom Brooke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Louie Crittenden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Gus Golding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louie Crittenden having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, David Beaver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. nafienaf's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Beaver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gus Golding's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Louie Crittenden was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute Dom Brooke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louie Crittenden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Louie Crittenden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gus Golding in the 100th minute of play. There was no doubt that nafienaf were the better team. nafienaf's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
