Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Grant Salmon kicked off to start the match. Phil Haley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darius Orchard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phil Haley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darius Orchard, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Roy Dodgson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of the casle booed when Bodmin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Dodgson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Cornish succeeded in the game's 14th minute to get real power on a long shot . Bodmin's Matt Hughes hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-1! Bodmin's Matt Hughes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Winter in the 16th minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Eric Salmon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matt Hughes skillfully saved the ball. The goalkeeper, Phil Haley, was totally fooled by Bodmin's Benji Gates, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 33 minutes into the game, Roy Dodgson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bodmin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave the casle the free kick. Roy Dodgson kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Matt Hughes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ben Winter's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Ben Winter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matt Hughes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Winter in the 40th minute of play. the casle's Eddie Farrow got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a little luck, Bodmin's Matt Hughes got control of the ball when Ben Winter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ben Winter succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 55th playminute. In the 60th minute, Bodmin's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ben Winter fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 63 minutes into the match, Bodmin's goalkeeper Matt Hughes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ben Winter. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Miles Eastwood took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Matt Hughes to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miles Eastwood during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes the casle got a freekick which was hit by Miles Eastwood. In the 73rd minute, Ben Winter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Miles Eastwood managed to get in a good position for a shot. the casle's supporters rose to their feet, but Miles Eastwood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matt Hughes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ben Winter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 78 minutes into the match, Bodmin's goalkeeper Matt Hughes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ben Winter. If Ben Winter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peter Mullan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ben Winter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Matt Hughes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Ben Winter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Lennie Johnson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bodmin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lennie Johnson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eric Salmon's late challenge caught a Bodmin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eric Salmon helped the player get up and apologised. Benji Gates, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 97th minute, Darius Orchard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bodmin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3.
