Seating: 1594, VIP seats: 6) Ged Nelson made the kick off and thus started the match. When Jack Rowling fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lond-Catford's protests and gave Jack Rowling a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Treckersville FC booed when Lond-Catford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Rowling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gez Cotterill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rick Elam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Gez Cotterill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Treckersville FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gez Cotterill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rick Elam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon Corrigan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rick Elam having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play Lond-Catford's Jack Rowling was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Lond-Catford's Jack Rowling got a free kick in the 18th minute. Piers Burns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the game, Phil Langford recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zak Beverley. Phil Langford showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Treckersville FC's Antony Margarson got a free kick in the 44th minute. The long shot by Leon Edworthy in the 45th minute really tested Zak Beverley's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
In the 56th minute, Gez Cotterill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lond-Catford fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Rick Elam, was totally fooled by Treckersville FC's Antony Margarson, who 62 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Gez Cotterill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Treckersville FC's Gez Cotterill slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rick Elam. That made the score 1-2 after 70 minutes of play. Lond-Catford's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Simon Corrigan scored to the left of an out of position Rick Elam, making the score, 1-3. 78 minutes into the match, Lond-Catford's goal looked a bit too open when Gez Cotterill came free, but Rick Elam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Corrigan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Rick Elam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Simon Corrigan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 89th minute, Antony Margarson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Treckersville FC's Damon Thorn got a free kick in the 97th minute. Treckersville FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
