Spectators: 7568 (Terracing: 5677, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dominik Lennon kicked off to start the match. After 6 minutes, Glenn Key mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toon Army FC and the Leeds City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Glenn Key hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Dominik Lennon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Dominik Lennon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dom Nailor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dom Nailor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Lennon in the 17th minute of play. Dominik Lennon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Gerry Whitmore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dom Nailor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Toon Army FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calum Stansfield to maneuver through the defense. Marty Nash took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dom Nailor. Toon Army FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Gerry Whitmore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leeds City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerry Whitmore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dom Nailor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Leeds City FC booed when Toon Army FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glenn Key didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dom Nailor came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Leeds City FC's Rio Buckley. But to his dismay, Rio Buckley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Dominik Lennon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dom Nailor having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Deon Boyce to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Leeds City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinnie Haxby to maneuver through the defense. Austen Speight took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harvey Porter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerry Whitmore's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Dom Nailor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 55th match minute, Toon Army FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vic Hellen to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, one of Toon Army FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Toon Army FC. When the match had been going on for 58 minutes, Leeds City FC's Vinnie Haxby got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dom Nailor. Dominik Lennon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 63 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Leeds City FC's Gerry Whitmore fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Gerry Whitmore came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dom Nailor could save by the left post. With an all-out effort, Leeds City FC's Dom Nailor threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dominik Lennon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Leeds City FC booed when Toon Army FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harvey Porter didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Leeds City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominik Lennon to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinnie Haxby during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 73 minutes into the game, one of Leeds City FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gerry Whitmore's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Dom Nailor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dominik Lennon hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When Deon Boyce came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Toon Army FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deon Boyce couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the match, Leeds City FC's Dominik Lennon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dom Nailor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dom Nailor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerry Whitmore in the 88th minute. Gerry Whitmore's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Dom Nailor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Austen Speight took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ozzy Durkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Dominik Lennon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dom Nailor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dom Nailor didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Gerry Whitmore got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 98th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. After a rather tough play, Toon Army FC's Vic Hellen got a free kick in the 99th minute. In the 102nd minute of the match Leeds City FC got a corner. Toon Army FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vinnie Haxby ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Colin Alcock got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dom Nailor quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the final whistle sounded Leeds City FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Toon Army FC.
