Spectators: 6831 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 100) 5 minutes into the match, Walshaw's goalkeeper Sean La Forte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ray Stewart. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Player 2 FC's goalkeeper Sacha Allott, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eddy Silvester kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. John Hudson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Sean La Forte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Walshaw's Eddy Silvester got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, John Hudson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Player 2 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but John Hudson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sean La Forte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, John Hudson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sean La Forte to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as John Hudson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sean La Forte. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. When Silvester Hackney fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Walshaw's protests and gave Silvester Hackney a yellow card for diving instead. Silvester Hackney hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Sean La Forte had great luck who in the 37thth minute grab hold of the ball when John Hudson from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 42nd minute Eddy Silvester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sacha Allott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Hudson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Hudson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Sean La Forte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when John Hudson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Walshaw getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Derek Wadham hit a great ball. In the 57th minute John Hudson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sean La Forte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eddy Silvester kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Player 2 FC's John Hudson got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Walshaw's Sean La Forte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Hudson in the 63rd minute of play. John Hudson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute John Hudson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sean La Forte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 minutes of play, Player 2 FC's John Hudson made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sean La Forte was left in no man's land by his defense there! 76 minutes into the match, Walshaw's goal looked a bit too open when John Hudson came free, but Sean La Forte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, Player 2 FC's Toby Pilkington made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sean La Forte was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the game, Toby Pilkington cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Sean La Forte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes in the game, Silvester Hackney fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sacha Allott having to interfere. Toby Pilkington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean La Forte having to interfere. Player 2 FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Walshaw for a fine match.
