Spectators: 7518 (Terracing: 5639, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gareth Flemming started the match with the kick off. When Tris Brimble came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Kingswear fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tris Brimble couldn't finish the play. Pedro Bancroft showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Amos, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Tommy Acton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl Amos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Pedro Bancroft tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kingswear's Karl Amos got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gareth Flemming received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Pedro Bancroft tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, London Met Academy's Gaz Fry got a free kick in the 26th minute. Leon Lambourne didn't quite understand what happened when in the 28 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After some careless play in the London Met Academy defense, Karl Amos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Bancroft. The London Met Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Bancroft should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, London Met Academy's Gaz Fry got a free kick in the 34th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Kingswear's Leon Lambourne tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Karl Amos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The London Met Academy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kingswear were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Ozzy Cooper made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Bancroft made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl Amos in the 57th minute. Gareth Flemming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Denzil Brook fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored London Met Academy's protests and gave Denzil Brook a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to London Met Academy getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Denzil Brook hit a great ball. Tommy Acton charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tommy Acton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tommy Acton hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, London Met Academy's goalkeeper Pedro Bancroft had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl Amos. In the 72nd minute Gareth Flemming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Bancroft saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 75 minutes into the game, when Charlie Butterworth put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Kingswear booed when London Met Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Butterworth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Bancroft was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Leon Lambourne. Pedro Bancroft showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gareth Flemming in the 85th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, London Met Academy's goalkeeper Pedro Bancroft had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl Amos. With a little luck, London Met Academy's Pedro Bancroft got control of the ball when Karl Amos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 96 minutes, Karl Amos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kingswear's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Amos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The London Met Academy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kingswear were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
