Den Granger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Russ Deaconsfield in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robbie Pointon was the one to do the kick off. Russ Deaconsfield's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Den Granger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Gareth Flemming received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Freddy Downes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bruh had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
