When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Johnny Coombe put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kasey Carter. Kasey Carter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Johnny Coombe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Button kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Johnny Coombe scored 3-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kasey Carter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 67 minutes, Johnny Coombe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derby United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnny Coombe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Loser FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johnny Coombe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Daniel Phimister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasey Carter having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Johnny Coombe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Derby United's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnny Coombe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kasey Carter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Johnny Coombe made a precise shot to the right of Kasey Carter. Loser FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0.
