Aaron Hargreaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Hargreaves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eric Bellamy's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Eric Bellamy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Hargreaves having to interfere. If Phil Riad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Jay Driver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Hectic Gaming Academy booed when Westbourne United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nat Gulliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonny Gayle scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bryan Fields, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phil Riad in the 34th minute of play forced Hectic Gaming Academy's goalkeeper Aaron Hargreaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hectic Gaming Academy's goalkeeper Aaron Hargreaves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bryan Fields made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonny Gayle in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Phil Riad to make the kick off. Aaron Hargreaves made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Eric Bellamy sent off a good shot on target. Eric Bellamy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Aaron Hargreaves made a huge save. After having played for 58 minutes, Phil Riad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Westbourne United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phil Riad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Phil Riad spun around in front of the goal 59 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Hectic Gaming Academy's goal. Aaron Hargreaves made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Eric Bellamy sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Hectic Gaming Academy's zone, Phil Riad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Hargreaves came out of the goal and Phil Riad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Westbourne United booed when Hectic Gaming Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chesney Courtney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Westbourne United's Dom Chalmers couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hectic Gaming Academy. 69 minutes into the match, Westbourne United's Phil Riad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aaron Hargreaves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Hectic Gaming Academy's Aaron Hargreaves got control of the ball when Eric Bellamy tried to sneak it across the goal line. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Bellamy got free with Aaron Hargreaves in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96thth minute of the game Phil Riad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hectic Gaming Academy's Aaron Hargreaves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Hectic Gaming Academy could leave the field as winners, despite Westbourne United having more of the ball for most of the match.
