After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Jonny Gayle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hectic Gaming Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonny Gayle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Froggatt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, Neil Griffiths notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Langut SSA's Oscar Froggatt. Oscar Froggatt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Neil Griffiths received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Oscar Froggatt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Froggatt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Gayle in the 14th minute of the match. When Hectic Gaming Academy's Neil Griffiths in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Chambers got free with Aaron Hargreaves in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Langut SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Jay Driver came free, but Oscar Froggatt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Langut SSA's Hugh Morrison got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Langut SSA's zone, Jonny Gayle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Froggatt came out of the goal and Jonny Gayle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute Neil Griffiths shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Froggatt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Neil Griffiths made the kick off in the second half. Aaron Hargreaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugh Morrison, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Oscar Froggatt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Neil Griffiths's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Hugh Morrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Hargreaves having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Julian Chambers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Hargreaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sid Osbourne took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oscar Froggatt. Langut SSA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Jonny Gayle put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Oscar Froggatt. Langut SSA's Oscar Froggatt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Langut SSA from getting a goal against them. When Langut SSA's Hugh Morrison in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Hectic Gaming Academy defense, Hugh Morrison kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aaron Hargreaves. The Hectic Gaming Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaron Hargreaves should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Langut SSA's zone, Neil Griffiths stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Froggatt came out of the goal and Neil Griffiths tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Langut SSA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hectic Gaming Academy's performance. The match ended with a win for Hectic Gaming Academy.
