Spectators: 7537 (Terracing: 5643, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 150) Ryan Weston started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Warren Riley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ged Lennon came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the London United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ged Lennon couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ged Lennon in the 6th minute of play forced Horbury FC's goalkeeper Jay Carey-Bertram to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Horbury FC's goalkeeper Jay Carey-Bertram, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Shawn Boston hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frankie Morrell during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. London United's Gav Kellaway couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Horbury FC. Jay Carey-Bertram made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ged Lennon in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, London United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Beck to maneuver through the defense. Marlon Stansfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Weston in the 17th minute of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Ged Lennon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horbury FC's Jay Carey-Bertram was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 25 played minutes London United got a freekick which was hit by Peter Medlin. Ged Lennon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30thth minute of the game Ged Lennon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horbury FC's Jay Carey-Bertram was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Horbury FC's Frankie Morrell got a free kick in the 31st minute. Shawn Boston kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 played minutes, London United's Gav Kellaway shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jay Carey-Bertram came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in London United reached it. Jay Carey-Bertram stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ged Lennon's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Peter Horner shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jay Carey-Bertram showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ryan Weston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horbury FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryan Weston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marlon Stansfield breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Marlon Stansfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ray Corbridge in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute Ray Corbridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marlon Stansfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryan Weston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Marlon Stansfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jay Carey-Bertram stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ged Lennon's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Marlon Stansfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Weston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ged Lennon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ray Corbridge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marlon Stansfield was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Jay Carey-Bertram made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Warren Riley sent off a good shot on target. Warren Riley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Jay Carey-Bertram when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Warren Riley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ray Corbridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80thth minute of the game Ryan Weston who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but London United's Marlon Stansfield was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Warren Rileys short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Jay Carey-Bertram to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jay Carey-Bertram showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ged Lennon, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Warren Riley came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the London United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Warren Riley couldn't finish the play. Jay Carey-Bertram stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ged Lennon's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Warren Riley struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Jay Carey-Bertram didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for London United. Warren Riley in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jay Carey-Bertram, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 96th minute Ged Lennon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jay Carey-Bertram saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
