Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Piers Rathmell kicked off to start the match. Piers Rathmell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Matthew Halliday tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Piers Rathmell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Piers Rathmell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthew Halliday stood somewhat misplaced when Piers Rathmell came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 19 minute. In the 22nd minute Piers Rathmell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Halliday saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Matthew Halliday managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when FC Nevėžis's Blair Bartlett fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Blair Bartlett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Piers Rathmell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Halliday saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Nevėžis booed when Cromer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dale Atkins didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Blair Bartlett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matthew Halliday was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paul Gilchrist during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul Gilchrist was the one to do the kick off. Piers Rathmell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthew Halliday read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Dale Atkins's late challenge caught a FC Nevėžis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dale Atkins helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cromer getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Dale Atkins hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, FC Nevėžis's Piers Rathmell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matthew Halliday narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matthew Halliday showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billie Monk, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. If Blair Bartlett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blair Bartlett scored 3-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matthew Halliday, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matthew Halliday made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piers Rathmell in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute Piers Rathmell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Halliday saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blair Bartlett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Halliday having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jake Chambers in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matthew Halliday saved Cromer from getting behind. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cromer's goalkeeper Matthew Halliday, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Piers Rathmell took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matthew Halliday. Matthew Halliday dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. FC Nevėžis walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
