Spectators: 7252 (Terracing: 5501, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 11) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jez Budden started the match with the kick off. Jez Budden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Terry Dibb read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. If Shawn Stansfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FIVEteen United's Norman Gibbons got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 17th minute, Byron Mallon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Max Nailor hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Shawn Stansfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Byron Mallon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlton Reeves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Byron Mallon managed to get in a good position for a shot. FIVEteen United's supporters rose to their feet, but Byron Mallon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlton Reeves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Terry Dibb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jez Budden in the 34th minute of play. Terry Dibb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shawn Stansfield in the 35th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Jez Budden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The long shot by Neil Metcalfe in the 44th minute really tested Carlton Reeves's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jez Budden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Terry Dibb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Byron Mallon was the one to do the kick off. Seth Beale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlton Reeves having to interfere. Byron Mallon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Byron Mallon notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Kimpton's Carlton Reeves. Carlton Reeves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Seth Beale's late challenge caught a Kimpton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Seth Beale helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kimpton booed when FIVEteen United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seth Beale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jez Budden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alistair Fields hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Shawn Stansfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Jez Budden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terry Dibb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shawn Stansfield in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Terry Dibb, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 79 minutes into the game, Ross Worth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FIVEteen United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kimpton the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shawn Stansfield got free with Terry Dibb in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Shawn Stansfield could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Terry Dibb however easily saved by the left post. 90 minutes into the match, FIVEteen United's goal looked a bit too open when Jez Budden came free, but Terry Dibb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norman Gibbons charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norman Gibbons the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FIVEteen United's Norman Gibbons got a free kick in the 91st minute. Kimpton were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after FIVEteen United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marek Laverick took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Marek Laverick got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Terry Dibb quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FIVEteen United had won after a very even match.
