Geoff Bridge helped the player get up and apologised. Liam Moxon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, Will Ferrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Seglinka FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gav McNiven hit a great ball. Will Ferrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Burton upon Trent FC's Loyd Poole got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danny Snowden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liam Moxon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Syd Pyrah came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Danny Snowden could save by the left post. Danny Snowden made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Syd Pyrah sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Will Ferrell in the 68th minute of play forced Seglinka FC's goalkeeper Wayne Scargill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Syd Pyrah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Snowden having to interfere. In the 74th minute Liam Moxon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Snowden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Syd Pyrah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Danny Snowden made a huge save. Wayne Scargill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Will Ferrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Burton upon Trent FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Seglinka FC had controlled the match.
