Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Leo Letheren made the kick off and thus started the match. Leo Letheren charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo Letheren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Amberley AFC booed when Dersingham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Letheren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ian Meade missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 7 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Derek Townsend right hand side. Lance Pool made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Crouch in the 19th minute of play. Lance Pool showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Crouch in the 20th minute of the match. If Danny Crouch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Leo Letheren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dersingham AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 36th minute Leo Letheren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Pool saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes Dersingham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lloyd Beevers. Lance Pool came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Dersingham AFC's Danny Crouch. But to his dismay, Danny Crouch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Lance Pool didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leo Letheren went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After the first half Dersingham AFC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan Trueman to make the kick off. Calum Webster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ty Carragher charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ty Carragher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Ty Carragher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Amberley AFC's Lance Pool got control of the ball when Danny Crouch tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danny Crouchs short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Lance Pool to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Amberley AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Leo Letheren 66 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. 71 minutes into the match, Amberley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Letheren came free, but Lance Pool reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Danny Crouch could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Lance Pool however easily saved by the left post. Leo Letheren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Pool having to interfere. Danny Crouch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Amberley AFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Reg Carey hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Dersingham AFC's Lloyd Beevers got a free kick in the 90th minute. Amberley AFC's Lance Pool played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Letheren in the 94th minute of play. Lance Pool made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Crouch in the 97th minute of play. Dersingham AFC played a much better game than Amberley AFC and deserved their victory. The Amberley AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
