Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Trey Griggs started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nicholas Beech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nial Larham having to interfere. Derek Charles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Junior Nelson in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Callington's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Nelson came free, but Derek Charles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Junior Nelson in the 8th minute of play forced Callington's goalkeeper Derek Charles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Weston Super Mare FC's zone, Trey Griggs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nial Larham came out of the goal and Trey Griggs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Weston Super Mare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicholas Beech came free, but Nial Larham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walter Frost charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walter Frost the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Walter Frost hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Weston Super Mare FC's Vinnie Chilton got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 22nd minute, Mike Heywood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Callington's Darryl Clark got a free kick in the 28th minute. Mike Heywood kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes in the game, Trey Griggs fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nial Larham having to interfere. Callington's Nicholas Beech got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stuart Robins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derek Charles having to interfere. Trey Griggs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Nial Larham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Callington's Derek Charles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stuart Robins in the 56th minute of play. Callington's Derek Charles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Callington from getting a goal against them. Trey Griggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nial Larham having to interfere. Stuart Robins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Junior Nelson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derek Charles having to interfere. If Stuart Robins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Derek Charles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stuart Robins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nicholas Beech came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Callington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicholas Beech couldn't finish the play. If Nicholas Beech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicholas Beech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nial Larham having to interfere. Nial Larham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trey Griggs in the 94th minute of play. Derek Charles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Junior Nelson in the 96th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
