Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marty Dingle took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Denis Fawcett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fletching AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Fawcett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francis Mabbutt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francis Mabbutt scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bart Wroe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Denis Fawcett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bart Wroe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Vic Johnston came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Wankers's Ben Kitching. But to his dismay, Ben Kitching quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Fletching AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ben Vaughan hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Denis Fawcett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fletching AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Fawcett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bart Wroe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marty Dingle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Vic Johnston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ben Vaughan hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Wankers's Marty Dingle got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Marty Dingle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wankers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 47th match minute, Fletching AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jermaine Spears to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Wankers's Tommy Pamplin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Brynn Duxbury fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vic Johnston having to interfere. If Francis Mabbutt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes Wankers got a freekick which was hit by Travis Reeves. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Francis Mabbutt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fletching AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francis Mabbutt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bart Wroe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marty Dingle got free with Vic Johnston in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Brynn Duxbury dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vic Johnston, 1-3. Kev Sykes hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Vic Johnston didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Wankers's Marty Dingle shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Ben Kitching hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Francis Mabbutt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bart Wroe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Vic Johnston made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Marty Dingle sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Wankers booed when Fletching AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Vaughan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marty Dingle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Denis Fawcett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, Fletching AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Fawcett to maneuver through the defense. Denis Fawcett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bart Wroe having to interfere. Wankers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
