He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Red Bull reached it. Rupert Niven succeeded in the game's 5th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After some careless play in the Red Bull defense, Rufus Chappell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shawn Pitts. The Red Bull fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shawn Pitts should have stopped the shot. Wes Cooper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shawn Pitts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rupert Niven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wes Cooper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shawn Pitts having to interfere. Red Bull's Shawn Pitts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert Niven in the 31st minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Heywood made a kick off. Shawn Pitts made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Wes Cooper sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th of the match, Rupert Niven tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Shawn Pitts got in the way and made a wonderful save. Rupert Niven was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Bull's goalkeeper Shawn Pitts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bourne End's Wes Cooper was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 69th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Bourne End's goal looked a bit too open when Ged Clayton came free, but Phil Bower reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phil Bower made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Heywood in the 77th minute of play. If Wes Cooper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wes Cooper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Red Bull's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Niven came free, but Shawn Pitts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Micheal Fowler hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Wes Cooper's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Shawn Pitts skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Rupert Niven got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Red Bull fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bourne End were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
