After a defensive mix-up in Chuffing Hell's zone, Stephen Weir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlton Burkinshaw came out of the goal and Stephen Weir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephen Weir in the 45th minute of play forced Chuffing Hell's goalkeeper Carlton Burkinshaw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Stephen Weir had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlton Burkinshaw. Chuffing Hell's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stephen Weir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Barrie Beard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chuffing Hell's supporters rose to their feet, but Barrie Beard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mike Rundle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stephen Weir succeeded in the game's 59th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Tristram Wendon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Carlton Burkinshaw when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 87th minute Stephen Weir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlton Burkinshaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Kmaster FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephen Weir to maneuver through the defense. The Kmaster FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kmaster FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
