Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alistair Burns kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Herne Hill's Ritchie Butcher got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A collision led to Herne Hill getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ritchie Butcher hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rupert Niven in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lewis Dobbs saved Herne Hill from getting behind. Lewis Dobbs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rufus Chappell in the 13th minute of the match. Wes Cooper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lewis Dobbs having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Wes Cooper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Bourne End's Rupert Niven in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Herne Hill's goalie prevented a goal. Wes Cooper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Rupert Niven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wes Cooper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Lewis Dobbs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alistair Burns came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Herne Hill fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alistair Burns couldn't finish the play. Micheal Fowler kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Alistair Burns managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herne Hill's supporters rose to their feet, but Alistair Burns was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phil Bower breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lewis Dobbs made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Wes Cooper sent off a good shot on target. Wes Cooper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
