Travis Ingram helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tottenham Hotspurs! When the match had been going on for 23 minutes, Liverpool FC.'s Gary Dixon got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of John-Paul Gunn. Tottenham Hotspurs's John-Paul Gunn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Tottenham Hotspurs from getting a goal against them. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Graeme Reeve stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Louie Byrne took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John-Paul Gunn. John-Paul Gunn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 55 minutes, Graeme Reeve made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tottenham Hotspurs's John-Paul Gunn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
