Kristian Hook hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If Kristian Hook had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keiran Toulson struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Austin Adamson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for red army fc. Austin Adamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Hook in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dane Davis in the 21st minute of play forced red army fc's goalkeeper Simon Mawson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keiran Toulson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Austin Adamson made a huge save. 30 minutes into the game, Dion Lydiate cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Simon Mawson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as red army fc's Kristian Hook slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Austin Adamson. That made the score 1-1 after 33 minutes of play. Dane Davis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Mawson having to interfere. In the 42ndth minute of the game Dane Davis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but red army fc's Simon Mawson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Syd Laverack fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored red army fc's protests and gave Syd Laverack a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, red army fc's Syd Laverack got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Kristian Hook blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Austin Adamson having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dane Davis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, red army fc's goalkeeper Simon Mawson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dane Davis. Dion Lydiate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Mawson having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Dane Davis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dzeko Army's Dion Lydiate got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kristian Hook recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dzeko Army's zone, Kristian Hook stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Austin Adamson came out of the goal and Kristian Hook tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Keiran Toulson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austin Adamson having to interfere. If Dane Davis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute Keiran Toulson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Austin Adamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keiran Toulson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. red army fc's Simon Mawson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dane Davis in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Keiran Toulson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. red army fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Keiran Toulson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Austin Adamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keiran Toulson in the 94th minute of the match. Kristian Hook received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Austin Adamson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
