In the 20th minute, Verne Shakespeare left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Welwyn Garden City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 24thth minute of the game Charlie Cheetham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soccer Stars United's Lance Eldridge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Charlie Cheetham scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lance Eldridge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lance Eldridge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Verne Shakespeare, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute Adam Gayle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Eldridge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lance Eldridge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th match minute, Soccer Stars United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Hume to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Soccer Stars United's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Cheetham came free, but Lance Eldridge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Soccer Stars United's Lance Eldridge got control of the ball when Verne Shakespeare tried to sneak it across the goal line.
