Spectators: 7365 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Soccer Stars United's goal looked a bit too open when Jay Swinscoe came free, but Lance Eldridge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lance Eldridge was a little too slow when Jay Swinscoe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. Jay Swinscoe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Eldridge having to interfere. When Chesney Houlahan fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spurs27's protests and gave Chesney Houlahan a yellow card for diving instead. Kevin Alsford's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lance Eldridge firmly grabbed it by the left post. Frank Hume recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Lance Eldridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jay Swinscoe in the 53rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Jay Swinscoe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spurs27's supporters rose to their feet, but Jay Swinscoe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lance Eldridge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Soccer Stars United's Lance Eldridge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Alsford in the 59th minute of play. Lance Eldridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jay Swinscoe in the 61st minute of the match. Jay Swinscoe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Chesney Houlahan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes of play, Spurs27's Chesney Houlahan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lance Eldridge was left in no man's land by his defense there! Spurs27's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ollie Kearney in the 73rd minute. The corner ended in Ollie Kearney almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Soccer Stars United's Lance Eldridge did a great save. In the 77thth minute of the game Jay Swinscoe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soccer Stars United's Lance Eldridge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lance Eldridge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jay Swinscoe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Spurs27's Jay Swinscoe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lance Eldridge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Toby Firth took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lance Eldridge. Lance Eldridge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Spurs27's Chesney Houlahan got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96thth minute of the game Chesney Houlahan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soccer Stars United's Lance Eldridge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
